Clay Animals

From Indianroots:  We choose a clay that air hardens for the children to work with.  Each child choose an animal and made a model of it.  Elephants were the most popular choice!  Can you recognize the head of a lion tailed macaque on the far right?  You can use any modeling material from play dough to plastecine to a salt dough (for a recipe see http://www.gigglemoose.com/salt_dough_recipe.htm ).
